KAGAMINE RIN. Kokoro (Heart); a visual novel type song with manga illustrations and a coherent story about a scientist that creates a robot who succeeds in getting a soul only after her creator passes away. (English subs)



KAGAMINE LEN. Kokoro Kiseki; Continuation of Kokoro, this time it's about the scientist who invented the heart/soul that the robot in the first part gets. If the first and second videos are played together, they form a coherent song that summarizes both parts nicely. There are videos that do that too. (Eng subs)



KAGAMINE RIN. Aku no musume (Daughter of Evil); a story about how a 14 year old Princess who terrorizes her own kingdom and declares war on peaceful neighbors meets her demise. (Eng subs)



KAGAMINE RIN & LEN. A Boy, The Universe; A story about a boy who wants to make his own rocket to fly into space and see the universe. People laugh at him but he still pursues his dreams and succeeds. (Eng subs)



Meltdown; WATCH IT FOR THE VISUALS. The song is good too. Something about a girl wanting to jump into a nuclear reactor. Tell me what it means if you figure it out. (Eng subs)



All these songs were created with the "Kagamine Rin/Len" portion of the Vocaloid 2.0 synthesizer program. You guys probably know what Vocaloid is I hope.

Here's Kokoro and Kokoro Kiseki done simultaneously as a duet, as Apple mentioned. This version's done by 2 doujin singers and not vocaloids if I'm not mistaken though.

I'm happy people actually responded to the first post! Next up is story of the most epic Vocaloid video so far and the funny follow-up story. Please read in order.

MIKU HATSUNE. Miku Miku Shite Ageru; This is one of the very first songs that became hugely popular in Japan, since it features Miku Hatsune introducing herself. It's like the stage debut/first hit single of a new idol. The video I chose has better than average CG too.

* After the above vid, someone on Nico Nico Douga (the video sharing site) made a viral video that resulted in Kagamine Rin being equated to Dio Brando from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure(or the WRYYYYYYYYYYYY person) and his yellow tractor from another meme.

* After the above video, another fan decided to make a full 3D racing sequence WITH GUTTER DRIFTING for the Bucchigiri ni shite ageru spoof song, resulting in epic win and lulz at the same time.

Here's another story.

KAGAMINE LEN. Aku no Meshitsukai (The Servant of Evil); Part 2 of 3. This is the 2nd part of a video I posted about earlier, Kagamine Rin's Daughter of Evil. Unknown to the populace, the evil Princess actually had a twin brother that despite his sister's deeds still loved her more than anything. Was it really the Princess that was executed at the end of Part 1? Watch to find out. The singing quality might not be as good as the other videos but the story is worth it.
