Machida gets KO'd by Shogun

Hype train derailed.
Sorry for the bad quality. I think what really took Machida out was the punch as soon as he hit the ground. Great accuracy by Shogun, who never let him set up and space properly.

Another bad ass Anderson Silva gif.
Context: In the middle of the fight, he just held the guy and smiled at him while taking the punches in the clinch before knocking him out.

I counted seven shots by the other guy that landed cleanly. Most of them seemed to hit Silva in the jaw. How was he still standing?

I don't think I've shared my favorite Muay Thai boxer yet.
Buakaw Por Pramuk
Feared left kick, they say one of the best. Pretty solid jaw too - he's demonstrated he can take straight punches and hooks. He has a couple of losses to KOs, but it generally hasn't stopped his reputation for being bad-ass.

haha parang naka OP-I
I really miss K1.
GOD DAMN. that IS massive.
Looks like the brock vs fedor dream match won't ever come to fruition if this comes to pass.

lets just wait till both brock and fedor are president
WORLD WAR III = BROCK VS FEDOR
still hasn't met his match with his near-spotless record. Sobrang dami ng drama sa mga laban ngayon.
I'm really glad that mir is out of the way

I place my bet on Brock. They both have massive knockdown power, but Brock has his wrestling going for him.
Should be a good fight though.

brock's chin is still untested, it all depends if carwin can avoid being taken down and win a stand up game
OUCH! I think this is good for him IMO.
Quote:Emelianenko suffered his first submission loss on June 26, 2010 against Fabricio Werdum. After knocking Werdum down early in the first round, Emelianenko closed in, but Werdum secured a deep triangle and an armbar from his guard, and Fedor was forced to tap. The loss was considered a large upset;[75] in the process, Werdum became the first MMA fighter to attain a non-controversial victory over Emelianenko. After the fight, Emelianenko said the following:
“ The one who doesn't fall never stands up. It happened that people made me an idol. But everybody loses. I'm just a human being. And if it's God's will next fight, I'll win. ”
