It's been confirmed... <a href='http://www.wrestlinginc.com/v2/wi/stc/nws/2007/6/25/24697.shtml' target='_blank'>Chris Benoit kills his wife and son, then kills himself</a>.
Oh, why.
man I also just heard of this a while ago ... haven't had time to read the link but does it say what happened and why he did it?

Yeah, I heard he snapped or something. Must have done one too many flying headbutts.
or his german suplexes took their toll...
Rabid Wolverine indeed.
I assume this one is real UNLIKE Vince MacMahon's supposed death.

Oh, it's real. In fact it's so real they stopped that stupid storyline, with Vince McMahon himself coming out to break the news to the audience.
Anyone notice that the past two prominent wrestlers who died (Guerrero, Benoit) are part of the Radicals? Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko better be careful, it seems a curse is going round. Heh.
Don't forget about Mr. 619 Rey Mysterio who had to lie low because of a darned knee injury.
Also, don't forget about Hulk Hogan's "Twin Brother" before.
... And don't forget Paul Bearer's "death".

But I believe Chris Benoit's death is real...
Well, they won't spread it all over the news if the death itself is fake.
