We're all playing the game(me,RoninFang,TwinSkies)
It's really fun
(like a mix of AC and Virtual on)There are a few types(or brands) of SVs(Steel Vehicle?)
Proton(or Protos...I'm not really sure >_<)-the speedy type
KHT-Long Range
Carro-Balanced
Zwerg-Close Range
Hartman-the heavy type
I'm using a Zwerg
The chips(hard to explain) are also...kinda wierd in personality XD
I got a Lizard-2(a komodo dragon)....and it talks like a samurai
RoninFang got a Wolf(as expected)....it's hyperactive...
TwinSkies has a Bird-5(a Penguin)...also hyper

I used to pilot a two-legged Carro. It seems that <a href='http://www.armoredcore.org/forums/index.php?showforum=41' target='_blank'>statistical study</a> puts that brand at the very top of the heap.
I lost interest after LR came to our shores though.

I never played this game before. The logo at the DVD cover scared me when it showed me that it's for OL gaming only, which really isn't so I lost my chance playing this game. BTW, could you humans tell me about the gameplay?

It's a map free-for-all kinda thing...you know...(Note
on't run around in the open >_<)lots of SVs in one given big map,fight it out,If you live till you kill the last SV(the ones without a skull near their HP), the boss(Ranker) will come out(the one with the red HP)...Beat him/her and you win the rank(or fight...or whatever)There are 2 bosses in each rank one for day,one for night.

I finished all the ranks(except the regionals) of Tokyo and London...I'm currently in HongKong
You can't fight without a chip(or an SV for that matter XD)...You start out with an E-Chip(Electronic chip)But the E-Chip has a low performance,and cannot learn, on the other hand, it can't die.
You can buy Animal Chips,they can learn dependent on your fighting style,they talk,their performance varys on type,but they have a durability total,and if drops to 100 and below,is not usable anymore (HP varys from 3000 to 7800)

Dog-balanced
Lizard-Loves to fight(mine)
Turtle-High Durability
Wolf-Fast Learner/balanced(very expensive)(RoninFang's)
Tiger and Lion-High performance but slow learners(also expensive)
Bird-Long range(Twinskies has a penguin)
Pig-Tracking
Dolphin-Fast learner/tracking
Shark-Tracker/Visual
Horse-Speedy
Cat-Visual(kitties!)
Bear-Close-Range Puncher
Ape-(I'm not really sure what they specialize)
(I don't know if that's all of them)
They also have different personalities(I think you get it on random)
Hyper Kid(my brothers')
Samurai Sensei(mine
)Soldier
Sarcastic
